Imperial Tobacco asked Path to design a pack that would open and present in a unique and innovative way. These functional equities whilst creating a strong brand association also create ‘talk value’ in the doorway and outdoor gathering of smokers.

Design:

We created a pack that can be opened and closed with one hand. The thumb activated slide up action is smooth & responsive and lifts and proffers the cigarettes for the consumer.

Realise:

Using our extensive knowledge of high speed tobacco packaging machinery we quickly developed early concepts into a series of technical prototypes. Working with the various technical teams a series of bespoke packing machines were designed and built to our pack specifications with minimal design amends.
